Guest Post by Cheyenne Strawinski- Review of Leaving Eva by Jennifer Sivec

The book Leaving Eva by Jennifer Sivec was a little confusing to follow. I read the unrevised version so there was a few grammatical errors, and the storyline jumps from character to character but that only took away from the story a tiny fraction.
Leaving Eva was a story about a little girl named Eva. Eva was abandoned as a young child and then later adopted at around age 5 by Thomas and Rose. They renamed her Brynn. Thomas got drunk often and he abused her physically, and verbally, saying she was ugly, and he hated her when he was drunk. He knew that Rose didn't love him, and that she only loved Brynn.

Brynn eventually graduated high school, and married her high school sweetheart. But when they started having problems, she is forced to face her past.

This was an amazing book. The book starts slow, but after you get into it, you won't want to put it down. It was very hard to go to school while reading this book, because I just wanted to stay home and read!

I give this book four stars just because it starts out slow and I like books that are fast pace from the start.
